What if I need more information about a rental?

Feel free to call us at (360) 943-8060, or send us your questions by E-mail. We are in the office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, PST, Monday through Friday, and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have, or give you specific directions to help you find a property.

What do I do if I want to see inside a property?

The property manager will be glad to show you any of the properties that we have available. If we have a tenant currently living in the property, we will need to give them at least 24 hours notice, so try to give us a little bit of lead time. We also would like you to drive by the property before you make an appointment to see it, to make sure that you like the neighborhood and the exterior appearance of the property. When you do this, please do not look in the windows, go into the backyard or bother the current residents, unless you have cleared it with our staff first.

How do I apply for a property if I want to rent it?

Applications are available from the property manager who shows you the property, from our office, or you can fill one out and submit it from our website. We will also be glad to mail or fax one to you. We do not charge an application fee. Instead, we will need the security deposit and non-refundable fee when we take the application. If the application is turned down for any reason the security deposit and non-refundable fee will be fully refunded. The only reason that we would keep the security deposit and non-refundable fee is if we accepted the application and you refused to rent the property, so make sure that you want it before you apply.

What is involved in the application process?

We have a set process that applies to all properties, and is exactly the same for every applicant. We need an application from everyone who will be living in the property and is 18 years old or older. Basically, we screen in four areas. We run a credit report, we do a criminal background check, we check with current and previous landlords, and we check the amount of income. If you have minor problems in some of these areas, you may still fall within our standards, so please call us anyway. The screening process usually takes about 24 hours, but may take longer if we have difficulty contacting your references. The property manager will be glad to go over our exact standards and policies in each of these areas. We comply with and support completely all fair housing regulations, and welcome all people to apply for housing with us.

Are these all the properties you have?

Probably not. We try to keep our web pages as up-to-date as possible, but we get new properties all the time. People give us notice at the beginning of the month, so between the 1st and the 10th, our list is at its largest and changes very quickly.
